Shield base is made of 3 layers of Poplar Plywood with Linen fabric glued between the layers for additional strength and durability.
Boss and handle are attached with bolts and inserts to allow for easy replacement or modification.
Jute Rope is attached around the edge and secured with a Jute Webbing to protect the wood from impacts and increase the life of the shield.
Shield base is slightly altered from my normal buckler and can be used fully independently from the turtle plush, however it is shell shaped.
Dimensions: Shell ~1.5cm Thick, ~27x27cm, ~1.2kg (This is a handmade product so there will be some variance from shield to shield)

Turtle is an altered IKEA plush toy, these obviously aren't designed with combat in mind and as a result will likely rip and tear from combat with weapons - My personal shield has lasted months of drilling and light freefencing with minimal damage however I can't make any guarantees.
