Hungarian Shield - BASIC (Blank)

Handmade Hungarian Shield for HEMA / Re-enactment / LARP.
Shield is based on the image of "Messer and Hungarian Shield" from the Gladatoria Manuscript.

𝘽𝘼𝙎𝙄𝘾 𝙎𝙃𝙄𝙀𝙇𝘿

• Shield base is made of 3 layers of Poplar Plywood.
• Leather Straps are attached with bolts and inserts to allow for easy replacement or modification.
• Jute Webbing is added around the edge of the shield to protect the wood from impacts and increase the life of the shield.
• A Gesso base coat is applied to allow for easy painting.
• Dimensions: ~26x58cm, ~1.5cm Thick, ~0.8-1kg (This is a handmade product so there will be some variance from shield to shield)

Shields can be painted for an additional cost.
